He stood, stalked to her and pulled her against him. “Let go, Belenda, and let me handle your needs for a while.” His hand trailed over her ass.
She froze and flamed in the same instant. Goosebumps rose all over her body and wildfire ran through her veins. He made it sound so tempting. She did want to let go and not have to worry about anything.
His whispered words sealed her choice. “I’ll make it worth your while, darlin’.” He broke his hold and stepped back. The cold sank in again with his absence. “Nothing else will happen between us unless you make good on your promise.” He pointed a finger at her. “You decide.”
Without being asked, she unzipped her skirt, allowing it to slip to the floor then stepped out of it. It wasn’t like her to be so sexually bold, but like Jack had said, she was a lot of things today she usually wasn’t. And he brought out something primitive in her she’d never felt.
He licked his lips and crooked his finger. “Come here.”
Shit.
Her knees knocked and wobbled. She walked over to him. He cut his steely gaze up to her face and looped his fingers through her panties, sliding them to her knees.
Before she could take a breath, he was on her again.
